Great racing in all classes on Aug 1st

Great to see all the new drivers, we hope you return.

Scott Styskal took the lead in the first of two IMCA Modified heat races as the green flag flew.  James Moore took the lead on lap number two.  On lap three, Bob Zoubek took the lead and continued for the win.  Moore was second, Styskal third and Jenny Sylvester fourth.  Michael Densberger led the first four laps of the second heat but then ended up in the pits.  Chris Alcorn got the lead at that point and continued for the win.  Scott Bivens finished second, Mike Stearns third and Adrian Hein Jr. was fourth.

Dan Rhiley controlled the first to two IMCA Sport Compact heat races with the win.  Ronald Frank finished second with Michael Rice third, and Mike Simpson fourth.  Ben Simpson controlled the second heat race as Amanda Rhiley moved up to finish second.  Ray Harrington was third and Mary Lenz fourth.

Shane Hiatt took the lead as the first of two IMCA Hobby Stock heat races began.  Hiatt continued for the win as Dusty Poessnecker had to settle for second.  Quinten Spragg was third and Damon Richards fourth.  Shane Schneider controlled the second Hobby Stock heat race with a win.  Nick Topil was second, Brandon  Kresha third and Brent Van Diest took fourth.

Brandon Jessen led the first of two IMCA Sport Mod heat races from start to finish.  Denny Berghahn Jr. finished second with Jim Hendricks third and Ron Allen fourth.  Rod Bronson had the early lead in the second heat race but Max Harder took the lead on lap number six.  Harder continued for the win as Bronson finished second.  Tyler Olson and Steve Swarthout rounded out the top four.

Mike Simpson grabbed the lead at the start of the IMCA Sport Compact feature race.  Ronald Frank took the lead on lap three as Simpson dropped into second place.  Dan Rhiley stole second place on the white flag lap.  Mike Simpson finished third and Michael Rice was fourth.

Shane Schneider led the entire distance in the IMCA Hobby Stock feature.  Mike Goldfuss rode up on the wall coming out of turn two after five laps.  Goldfuss ended up on his top on the backstretch bringing out a red flag.  Fortunately Mike was not seriously injured in the accident. Schneider continued his lead and got the win.  Brandon Kresha finished in second with Dusty Poessnecker third and Kyle Hein was fourth.

Brandon Jessen led the first eight laps of the IMCA Sport Mod feature before Denny Berghagh Jr. took the lead and the win.  Jessen finished second with Jim Hendircks third and Max Harder was fourth.

Scott Styskal grabbed the lead in the IMCA Modified feature but ended his night early after making contact with the wall on the front stretch.  Bob Zoubek took the win with Chris Alcorn second, Mike Stearns third and Mike Densberger was fourth.
